Good morning, Oak Bay. There’s finally a sign in the old Hide + Seek window: Blue House Coffee, opening in September. The doors aren’t open yet, but Oak Bay already has opinions about the beans. Tuesday brings a free information session for Oak Bay residents thinking about running for the SD61 board. On Thursday, Tango After Midnight comes to Elgin Road. Neighbours can also ask about the new police and fire training site at 1538 Monterey. Next Saturday is Big Bird Day at Uplands Park and Cattle Point. The photo from Reddit is just below. Montreal's PointeTango, the Canadian tango champions Erin Scott-Kafadar and Alexander Richardson, bring Tango After Midnight to the Canadian College of Performing Arts starting Thursday, August 27 at 7 p.m., with four more shows through September 5. One dancer performs in a pointe shoe, the other in a stiletto. Tickets through Intrepid Theatre. [Oak Bay News] |
