Neighbour needed

A big sheet of plastic is stuck on the beach, and one person can't lift it

Nobody is sure whose job this is, which is how it ends up being a neighbour's.

A neighbour posted to the Oak Bay Local group looking for anyone who can haul a massive sheet of plastic off the beach. By their account, it is four feet by six feet, three-quarters of an inch thick, and heavy enough that one person cannot budge it.

It is sitting at the beach access where Hollywood Crescent meets Wildwood Avenue. The neighbour was not sure who to call and floated the municipality as a first guess.

If you know the right department — or you are handy with a truck and a friend — that stretch of shoreline could use you.
